Read MoreTheFertilife offers second opinion fertility consultations in Gurgaon. These are for couples who want another expert to review their diagnosis, test results, or treatment plan before deciding what to do next. Dr. Anshika Lekhi does the review herself. She reads through your full medical history and your earlier reports. It is not a templated re-evaluation. It also does not assume your current treatment was wrong.

"A second opinion isn't about telling a couple their previous doctor was wrong — most of the time, they weren't. It's about a fresh set of eyes on a case that's gone on long enough that small, overlooked details start to matter. I've seen cycles change direction just from re-reading old reports with a specific question in mind." — Dr. Anshika Lekhi
There are a few common reasons couples ask for one.
Asking for a second opinion does not mean leaving your current clinic. Many couples confirm their existing plan and go back to it. In some cases the review finds a detail that changes the plan. Both happen.
Mostly three things.
A review of your history and prior reports. Dr. Lekhi goes through your earlier test results, treatment protocols, and cycle details before the consultation, not only during it.
Then a conversation about what may have been missed. This can include whether the timing, the dosage, or a protocol choice in an earlier cycle affected the outcome. It can also cover whether a standard test was skipped the first time.
And a recommendation at the end. That might confirm your current plan. It might suggest a specific change instead. Or it points toward more testing, such as a fuller fertility test panel, or ICSI where a male-factor cause was not looked at closely.
Fertility specialist consultation fees in India usually range from ₹500 to ₹2,500 per session. A second opinion is priced like any other specialist consultation. There is no separate charge for it. The cost only goes up if Dr. Lekhi recommends more testing during the review, such as a repeat hormone panel, or a more detailed fertility test that was not part of your original workup. Bringing your complete records keeps the cost down, since less has to be repeated.
Outcomes of a second opinion depend on how complete the reviewed records are, and on your individual case. This page is informational and does not replace an in-person evaluation by Dr. Lekhi.
Bring whatever records you have. Dr. Lekhi reviews them before your visit. That way the consultation starts with the review already done, not from zero.
